Pastor Shaun is a caring, warm and cheerful person who is always smiling. Her personality is always positive and she constantly encourages you to strive towards your dreams and goals. Her giving nature is a true testimony of her Christ-like virtue. I have had the privilege to work with Pastor Shaun on some of her Mission Trips in the Caribbean, and I developed an enormous respect for her determination and steadfastness as she worked to minister to the needs of adults and children who were having challenging times. She not only selflessly gave of her time but she also gave of her financial resources. I am confident that she will use this same exemplary attitude as she continues to fulfill the call of God on her life and minister to the needs of humanity. As a young child growing up in Kingston Jamaica, I would remember Miss Reid making trips from Bermuda to Jamaica with barrels of supplies for the children for back to school. I often looked forward to her arrival as I got to work alongside a phenomenal, kind, and fun-loving woman. As I grew older, I admired her compassion and care towards the youth of her environment, and it allowed me to want to follow in those footsteps to also give back to my community. I am so grateful for all the opportunities Ms. Reid has afforded me whether it be from simply helping with one of her Back-2-School events or showcasing my musical talents at a birthday event in a different country. I am proud to not only have gotten to work with her but also consider her family. I looking to all the great things she has yet to do because I know this is just the beginning. “I have known Shunie Reid for nearly 30 thirty years. She has always displayed quite a contagious exuberance. This warm and polite young lady won over the hearts of many seniors, as well as her peers. she became heavily involved in the services, programs, different projects and also initiated ideas that proved beneficial to many, including some of the congregants. Shunie has given of her time and substance effortlessly to the cause of Christ, wherever the need arose, she made an impact. One of the most admirable qualities that stand out in my mind is that she would use her birthday, which is normally a time of lavish self-pampering, to focus her attention on an individual she thought was deserving and treat them royally. Her unsuspecting recipients received these gestures with warmth and gratitude. There are many other things I could mention about this passionate, effervescent, and beautiful Woman of God.
